Can I reuse my MagicBand+, MagicBand or Key to the World card the next time I visit Walt Disney World Resort?
A.
Yes. If you have a MagicBand+, MagicBand or card that you like, and it is in working condition, you can continue to use it when you return to Walt Disney World Resort. If you have multiple MagicBands or cards, you can manage which ones are active in the MagicBands & Cards section of My Profile. Here are some helpful tips to consider before your next stay: Want to use a MagicBand+ or MagicBand? You can purchase a MagicBand+ or MagicBand online and at select merchandise locations at Walt Disney World Resort. Disney Resort Hotel Guests will have the option to purchase MagicBands up to 10 days before arrival at special pre-arrival prices. Already have a MagicBand+ or MagicBand from a previous visit? You can reuse your current MagicBand+ or MagicBand. Depending on how much time has passed, battery health may limit your ability to receive Disney PhotoPass attraction videos and select attraction photos with MagicBand. However, the rechargeable battery on MagicBand+ should allow you uninterrupted access to this entitlement. MagicBand+ should be plugged in and charged nightly during your visit—and at least once every 6 months between visits—to ensure healthy battery condition. Prefer not to use a MagicBand+ or MagicBand? Another option is to use a Disney MagicMobile pass—available in the My Disney Experience app. Or, at your convenience, swing by the Front Desk of your Disney Resort hotel to pick up a Key to the World card, which can be used in lieu of a MagicBand+ or MagicBand for certain things such as entering your Disney Resort hotel room or charging purchases to your room. Please note that Guests who choose not to purchase and use MagicBand or MagicBand+ products or use the My Disney Experience mobile app when they visit the Walt Disney World Resort may not have access to automated delivery of photos to the Guest’s Disney account and certain other interactive or personalized experiences. Want to skip check-in and go straight to your room? Eligible Guests may use convenient Online Check-In service and Direct-to-Room service, which allows you to get to the fun faster with real-time, room-ready updates—and even lets you use the My Disney Experience app as a digital room key at your Disney Resort hotel.
